Solutions – FishThe Fomaco solutions for the fish industry have evolved around our line of injectors and we now offer a range of ancillary machines that work in conjunction with our injectors. Our range of machines support the following process areas:• Brine mixers and storage tanks – available with and without cooling for mixing and storage of brines and marinades etc. • Injectors – the M3 series are available with 1, 2 or 3 needle bridges depending on the level of injection and tenderizing process required. Fomaco has manufactured and supplied processing equipment to the fish industry for the last 20 years and has achieved the "know-how" which is being reflected in the design of the injectors. The fish meat has a fragile structure. Fomaco is the only manufacturer making injectors specifically for this product. The equipment for the fish processing industry is charac- terized by a unique needle bridge equipped with fine needles giving a close injection pattern. The fish is injected at a low pump pressure preventing damage to the meat structure and at the same time ensuring that the product is being injected at a precise and even injection level. The equipment can be adapted for the processing of all types of fish to be cured and marinated such as smoked and portioned salmon, fully and lightly salted cod, herring, mackerel, halibut, hake, sole, perch, cat fish and tilapia etc. All machines have been designed to a very high quality, with a focus on important aspects like easy access to all areas for hygienic cleaning and trouble free maintenance. To aid the customers in supplying safe first class end pro- ducts it is possible to equip brine filter tanks, brine mixers and storage tanks with cooling systems to ensure that the temperature of the brine or marinade will be kept at the correct level during production. |
