FILTERS

Blocked and unclean needles are returning problems in the injection process. With our variety of filters, you can obtain the highest level of hygiene with no blocked needles.

Filters

When adding brine and marinade to poultry products the main objective is to ensure that the output is both homogenous and of the desired quality. This requires the absolute highest level of hygiene. A filtration system that eliminates the risk of blocked needles is an indispensable addition to your injection machine and ensures indisputable high levels of hygiene.

DUAL ROTARY FILTER DRF 1100 C

Fomaco proudly presents the DRF 1100 C - a dual rotary filter designed to work with the entire range of M3 injectors. The unit performs very well in applications with low to high viscosity brines and is especially suitable for use in large scale production facilities, where the following requirements applies:

• High production capacity
• High level injection
• High brine viscosity
• Constant low brine temperature

The DRF 1100 C has a unique four stage filter system consisting of the FM 80 self-cleaning filter, a cartridge
filter and two large rotary filters - a filtering process that ensures an excellent result. Furthermore, the unit is
equipped with a buffer tank with a float valve as well as two outlet valves, which supply the brine to the M3
injector, as well as a collection tank, which receives and filters the return brine from M3 injector.

A “tube-in-tube” heat exchanger can be added to the DRF 1100 C. This cooling unit maintains a low brine
temperature, thus reducing the bacteria count to an absolute minimum and ensuring a perfect product colour
as well as an optimal binding of the brine in the product.

CLEANING
MADE EASY

The DRF filter can be taken apart without the use of tools and is disassembled in a matter of seconds. Access for cleaning filter drums, filter trays and scrapers can be obtained by tilting out the gear motors and lifting up the filter trays.

Furthermore, an external cleaning table can be supplied to ease the cleaning operation of the filter drums and the internal parts of the FM 80 filter.

WHY FILTRATION
IS KEY

When adding brine and marinade to meat products the main objective is to ensure that the output is both homogenous and of the desired quality. This requires the injector to have a very high degree of accuracy, however, this is immaterial if the needles are not clean. A filtration system that eliminates the risk of blocked needles is an indispensable addition to your injection machine.

FOMACO BELT FILTER CBF 500P

The Fomaco belt filter is the next step up from the rotary filters. With its built-in conveyor belt the CBF 500P is suitable for medium and large production scales with a high demand for filtration performance.

The unit is designed to collect, filter, condition, and re-use the return brine from the Fomaco injector and performs very well in applications with low to medium viscosity brines. Due to the very large filtering surface the filter handles a high load of particles extremely well.

The combination of belt filters ranging from 500 - 800 micron and the self-cleaning protein filter, the FM 80, provides the highest filtration standard. The construction of the tank with a sloping bottom eliminates sediment build-up at the bottom and ensures minimum wastage of potentially expensive brines or marinades when changing product. Prevention of sediment build up can be improved even further by adding the optional hydro agitator, which constantly circulates the brine in the tank.

Last but not least, the CBF 500P comes with a wireless temperature sensor that enables operators to constantly monitor the current brine temperature on the M3 control panel.

CLEANING
MADE EASY

In the food industry a sanitary environment is indisputable. In designing our machines, we always strive for the highest level of hygiene. And the CBF 500P is no exception. A crucial step in this is to make the cleaning of the machines as simple as possible. The CBF 500P mounted on four wheels for easy manoeuvring during cleaning, and the filter can be taken apart without the use of tools and can be dismantled in a matter of seconds. The CBF 500P also features:

  • Rotating scrapers and wash bar for complete cleaning during production
  • Unique quick release system for easy cleaning or replacement of belt filter

ROTARY FILTERS PFS 7/225R & PFS 7/330R

Compatible with the M3 platform the Fomaco rotary filters PFS 7/225R & PFS 7/330R are our standard, all-round filters, performing very well in applications with low to medium viscosity brines.

The unit collects, filters, conditions and reuses the return brine and is constructed with a sloping bottom in order to eliminate sediment build-up at the bottom of the tank and ensure minimum wastage of potentially expensive brines or marinades when changing product. Equipped with a wireless temperature sensor the filter enables constant monitoring of the current brine temperature via the M3 control panel, whilst the float valve constantly controls the brine level.
